            There were many deserving soccer and baseball athletes who deserved an all-conference or all-region award.  Others were given recognition for second team and honorable mentions in their respective sport.

            All the athletes who participated for the Cisco Junior College athletic program this past year deserve an award for their hard work and diligence.  The coaches did a marvelous job with the talent they had and the sports program looks forward to a great and successful 2007-08. 

            Recruiting is on-going and the coaching staff of each program is hard at work getting ready for next year.  Through the summer months, we will continue to keep you updated with information about last season and the vision for the new year. 

            We will look first at the football season…already ranked in the top 30 JUCO teams…then we’ll introduce you to the new ladies basketball coach…a baseball review…a volleyball and soccer preview…a softball review…and then a “sneak” peak at the upcoming fall schedules.  I hope you’ve enjoyed our 06-07 articles and look forward to the upcoming year.
